church of tarot: two of swords

two of swordsThe two of swords represents: conformity, courage, friendship, affection, concord in a state of arms, and intimacy. Some say that the blindfolded woman is at a crossroads where she can go the way of the world or the way of the spirit. Or, can she do both? In the tarot, water represents emotions. In facing away from the water she turns away from excess emotions and other distractions to act wisely and seek equilibrium.

Some questions to consider might be: Why are you choosing not to choose? What balance are you seeking to maintain? Is your habit of withdrawing from others or the world a mode of self care that you wish to reevaluate?
